Bromsgrove & District Amateur Radio Club is an established group where like-minded individuals meet to learn, share ideas, socialise and operate the club’s outstanding radio equipment and antenna system.

All club meetings and activities are suspended until further notice following UK Government advice. Please see for further details.

Founded in 1965, Bromsgrove & District Amateur Radio Club (BDARC) has welcomed licensed radio amateurs, those wishing to become licensed and persons with a general interest in radio. The Club offers a safe, friendly and welcoming environment for people of all ages, backgrounds and ability.

BDARC is fortunate to benefit from its own fully operational radio installation with an antenna system that most of us could only dream of owning and is available for use by members 24 hours a day. The Club also operates field days, special event stations and has groups that attend amateur radio events across the country.

Along with the physical equipment comes a wealth of knowledge and expertise amongst members allowing the club to deliver high quality training and exams at all levels to those new to the hobby and others wishing to advance.

Please carry on reading to learn more about our group, our hobby and the warm welcome that awaits you at our weekly meetings.
